Campo San Fantin, 1918-1984. (Open Map)

Inaugurated in 1792, almost entirely destroyed by fire in 1836, and again recently in 1996, the Theatre La Fenice was the most important in Venice and one of the most elegant of Italian theatres.
Visiting La Fenice Theatre is a unique experience to discover another way to live the Theatre. The tour among the plasters and the golds of the prestigious halls allows to discover the grounds and the unknown secrets of the Theatre and his figures, living over again the history from its origins to the present days. At the Box Office audioguides are available in Italian, English, German, French and Spanish. The tours occur daily and run for 45 minutes.
