With it's distinctive pointed arch's this palace was built in the beginning of the 15th century. The façade was once decorated with fresco's attributed to Giorgione, but has since been altered and restored. At the beginning of the 19th century Count Gritti entrusted the interior decoration to Borsato and Santi. Today the Gritti Palace is one of Venices many luxury hotels.
