Here is an interesting example of a Veneto-Byzantine house dating from 13th century, the home of the Da Mosto family, who were celebrated Venetian navigators. From the16th Century to the 18th Century the palace was one of the most important hotel in Venice, l’Albergo del Leon Bianco.
