Description
Venice's two great landmarks sit side by side on St. Mark's Square, and this booking lets you choose how to visit them. St Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace tickets are sold in five versions, and the time you spend inside runs from about an hour to two and a half hours depending on the one you pick.
- St. Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace with a host who welcomes you and gives a short introduction in English, then multilingual audio guides for the rest
- The same two monuments with an authorized guide who speaks English and explains the history as you walk
- The guided tour plus a visit to the terrace of the basilica, with views over the square and the rooftops
- A private basilica tour with a dedicated guide, at a pace set by your own questions
- A Doge's Palace ticket with a phone audio guide, for a fully independent visit
Depending on the option, your ticket also opens the Bridge of Sighs and the New Prisons, the Correr Museum, the Marciana Library and the Archaeological Museum. Priority access means less time in the queue outside, and the guided versions help you make sense of how Venice grew into a power of the Mediterranean.
The visit is not suitable for wheelchair users. Whichever version you book, everyone in the party enters together with the guide or host.
