Description
A Marco Polo Airport boat transfer is a way to arrive in Venice the way the city was meant to be approached: over the water, with the lagoon opening up around you instead of a queue of traffic. The ticket is for a shared boat, one way or return, and is valid on the line you choose.
To start, swap your voucher for the ticket at the operator's travel office, the one nearest the pier, and validate it at the stamping machines or ask a crew member before boarding. If you buy the return, you have up to 30 days after first use to activate it, so you can spend the days looking around Venice first. Seats are not reserved.
- Blue line: Murano, Fondamente Nove, Lido, the Arsenale, San Zaccaria, Piazza San Marco, the Zattere and Giudecca
- Orange line: Murano, Madonna dell'Orto, the railway stop, San Stae, Rialto, Ca' Rezzonico, Santa Maria del Giglio and Piazza San Marco
- Red line: Murano, Certosa, Lido, the Arsenale, San Zaccaria and Piazza San Marco
All three lines either leave from the airport or head to it, and the ride takes about 80 minutes. Hotel pickup and food and drinks are not included.
