Description
The Prosecco Hills day trip from Venice is a half-day outing of about five hours that begins and ends in the city. After meeting your guide, you travel in air-conditioned transport for less than an hour to the hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along the Prosecco road through vineyards and villages.
The destination is a family-run winery, picked over the large commercial ones. You follow the process that turns grapes into Italy's best-known sparkling wine, then taste several Valdobbiadene DOCG Prosecco wines. Local cheese, salami and other snacks come with the glasses.

The tour ends at the Venice meeting point in the early afternoon. Gratuities and hotel transfers are not included, and the tour is not suitable for children under 10 or wheelchair users. If your luggage is full, the winery can ship any bottles you buy, in protective boxes, to anywhere in the world.
